a. Note:   holar aged 5, born at Uffington but living at Warren Cottage, Kingston Lisle with her parents, 8 month old sister, Alice Maria, and possibly step-sister (9 year old Maryann King).
  She is 26 by 1871, when she appears as married to James Wooldrige (christened 26 March 1843 in Brightwalton, son of John and Anne, who later had a daughter Mary Ann christened 15 November 1846, also in Brightwalton), a Carter, and living in South End, Brightwalton (record 35) with him, Amos aged 5 and Rosa L aged 4 months. James was buried on 3 May 1878 in Brightwalton.
  By 1881, aged 35, Rhoda is married to Henry Barnes and living with him and Amos (15), Rosa H (10), Clara B (6) and Eliza J (3) Wooldrige plus Henry G Barnes, aged 1, still at Southend, Brightwalton (record 5). Her birthplace is given as Kingston Lisle.
  By 1891, when the family has moved to Lower End, Chaddleworth (record 63), Amos is the only Wooldridge remaining at home but Henry G (11) has been joined by Alfred (9), James (7), Albert (5) and Edgar (2) to complete Henry and Rhoda (then aged 46)'s family. By 1901, she is 56 and living at the Round House with Henry and 4 children - Amos (34 and a shepherd on a farm), George (21), Albert (15) and Edgar (12). Birthplace then is given as Uffington.
