Note: d, she would dress her cat and transport him in a doll's pram. She married Jack Taylor at Christ Church, Reading. She died suddenly of a heart attack at her home "High Thatch", Chalkhouse Green. Her cousin, Daphne Barnes-Phillips, arrived back from holiday the day before the funeral. At her funeral service at St John the Baptist Church, Kidmore End, on December 5th, 2000, her husband gave an appreciation of her life in which he spoke of her love of animals, both domestic and wild, and her desire to help people whenever she could. The minister had commented that she and Jack had bought Dyson's Wood to protect it from development. Barbara's love of animals led to her and Jack owning several race horses, including Jenny Splendid, and greyhound dogs.
