Note: died some years later. Matthew was contacted when he was married, his father was in aworkhouse would he help, his reply NO. There was not much work, he moved to South Wales with his wifeto work in the coal mine, he had two daughters, Anne & ElizabethDale. He hurt his leg with no job & no money he left Wales & moved toMacclesfield to live with his wife's parents 3 Pitt St.Macclesfield. Money & work were still difficult, so he joined the army andwent to France to fight in world war one. he died when he was only 56 yrs old.
