Note: Thomas Joseph Finn and Catherine Dormer of Kilcoltrim, near Borris, County Carlow, Ireland. His family later emigrated to Australia, and Martin was never able to contact them again, having been given incorrect addresses by the people of Borris, who had taken over the family home and farm (now owned by the Kelly family.)Martin may have been thought to be an only child, b ut in fact had 6 or 7 siblings who emigrated to Australia with the parents. they were Bridget, born 1865, Joseph born 1867, Mary, John, Ann, Alice Catherine. Only Bridget and Joseph had children, of whom around 150 descendants are living in Queensland and other parts of Australia. Martin's nephew, Joseph, born in 1918 is anxious to contact the family and would like news of Martin and his family in America.
