Note: Joseph C. was a school teacher in the township schools from 1901 to 1904, then moved to Danville where he worked for the C & E I and Big Four Railroads. He became a friend of Uncle Joe Cannon in Danville and when Uncle Joe became a political power in Washington, he sent for Joseph McClellan to come there. He has lived there and in Arlington, Virginia since 1918, retiring from government work in 1950.
