Note: Reported by Howard Whittington, grandson of Rebecca "Bessie" McClellan stated that his father, Norwin Whittington, always referred to Rebecca as Bessie, also that she was a triplet. There was some disagreement as to there being twins or triplets. Triplets confirmed by Joseph B McClellan's army pension papers where he states there were triplets, Belle, Blanche and Bessie and a set of twins Joseph C and James.
