Squad Leader (604) & 6 mos as S.Sgt as a Section Leader (604) Captured November 18, 1944 by members of the 101st German Panzers. According to his diary he was released to the British on April 28th. Battles & Campaigns: Go33WD45; Northern France; Rhineland; Central Europe: Decorations & Citations: Good Conduct Medal with Clasp; American Theater Service Ribbon; European African Middle Eastern Service Ribbon; PURPLE HEART; World War II Victory Ribbon.
