Note: He was born in Brooklyn. He had a twin brother Mortz. He worked for Howard Gunlock at the Brooklyn Chair Co. When Mr. Gunlock moved to Wayland and started the Gunlock Chair Co, William also followed He worked 50 years at Gunlocke Chair Company. He tried operating a farm near Honeoye Falls, but was not sucessful. The family moved back to Wayland and bought back the house (19 East Ave) that he owned previously. He retired from Gunlock Chair Co. in 1952. He had his prostate removed in Arnot Ogden in the 1960's. Always smoked
a cigar.
