From Eric Shawn: I just received a two volume collaboration by Robert Barnes and F. Edward Wright called "Colonial Families of the Eastern Shore of Maryland. According to this work David Shawn, son of Darby and Sarah was in court, March 1761 and as a single man, "was charged that on 7 Dec 1759 he committed fornication with Jane Greenwood and begot a bastard child. He was fined...." This would place the birth of the child in 1760, the year of Frederick's birth.
