Note: da. His father was was a doctor, who as the story goes, married the illegitimate daughter of Admiral Lord Nelson. Found this death record that pretty much matches. It indicates he was born in 1882. I just got Dad's birth certificate. It says that Grandpa was born in 1885, because he was 39 when dad (Harry, Jr.) was born. Margaret was his third wife. Harry, Sr. had a daughter, Eleanor and 2 sons, Robert (Editor of Automotive News) and James from his first marriage. She died. He was only married to his second wife for a year when she choked on a chicken bone and died. His youngest daughter Jenny died around the age of seven.
