a. Note:   Kyrle's father died while he was in Georgia Military Academy. He had to leave school at the age of 16 to come home and take care of his mother. Alice, his mother, turned their home into a boarding house. One of the tenants rented a room, who was an employee of Sears Roebuck. Kyrle began working for Sears and was transferred to Boston, Mass. There he continued his schooling. His mother moved with him to Boston, where he met Doris (Bobbe) MacIver Goodwin. The farm in Inverness was sold. In October, 1942, Alice Grover moved in with Doris and Kyrle in Lynbrook, Long Island, NY where she died shortly thereafter. is NOT responsible for the content of the GEDCOMs uploaded through the WorldConnect Program.
