Notes
a. Note:   Thomas and Robert Dorn, and a German named Warren, went to Oklahoma at or near Tisamingo. It is possible that these three men were on a cattle drive to deliver cattle to Indian Agencies in Oklahoma. While there, Tom Dorn met and married Amanda Padier while Mr. Warren married her sister Martha Padier.
Sometime between 1895-1898 the Tom Dorn's and the Warrens moved to Atascosa County, near Jourdanton, Texas.
Sometime in 1906, Tom & Amanda and their children traveled to the Choctaw Nations, Oklahoma Territories, possibly to attempt to petition the Bureau of Indian Affairs for citizenship of the Choctaw Nations, as her sister Martha and her husband had done in June of 1904 ( enrollment was denied to Martha at that time.)
In 1906, the Tom Dorn's were in Ardmore, Oklahoma where they moved by covered wagon to Montague County, Texas. In 1909, they moved back to Atascosa County. One of the older daughters was already living there. They ran a Stage Stop between San Antonio and Pleasanton in what was called the Black Jacks.
For some reason Tom Dorn went back to Oklahoma and died there in 1911.
