a. Note:   ian Territory in Okla. They had Land in Tallahatchie and Choctaw, Miss. also in Panola County in Tenn. In Texas they were in Denton, Cook and Lampassas Counties. There is still Land Registered to John Edward Pelham in Cook and Denton Counties also for Byram and Crawford in Cook County. they were the Original Owners of Land in Cook and Denton Counties. Some of this family went to California to work in the Gold Rush, some stayed there others came back to Indian Territory in Oklahoma. Most of them whenin Oklahoma was in what is now Lindsey, Okla. there are some Buried in Purdy Cem Just out of Lindsey. they also Lived on what was known as James-Yarbrough Hill. the Rush Creek run through the middle of it. There was also some Federal Land given to Byram By the Gov't, Because of Native American Heritage.
