Edgar served in World War 1 and was given money for that, that is why he had money also, also had lots of farm animals and they sold them. He never did the farming and the plowing that was Bernice's job. He was so mean to her. treated her like a hired hand.
  He also Married Beuleh Cunningham, she was a cousin. Her Dad was Dabner Cunningham the Brother of Sallie A Cunningham His mother. He married her before he went into the service, He ran off and remarried, he always told her if she found someone to love just go and she did. When they were young they used to hang around and go everywhere, and it got to the talk of the community evan when they went to Church Functions, so he asked her to Marry him because of the talk. His dad John and mom didn't like it at all, but he did it anyhow. He was engaged to an Ardrey Girl also in there between Beuleh and Bernice. He had given a Engagement Ring to the girl and Bernice was so mad, she went to the girl's house and asked to try on the ring, and she refused to give it back to her, Edgar tried to make her give it back, but Bernice said she loved him and wouldn't do it. so the Girl broke the engagement and Ed Married Bernice.
