Note: i in the Morrisville area in Polk County. On the 1900 census for Polk county Looney Township in Morrisville Missouri, It listed Charles..Mary..only and they were married two years. then on the 1910 census for the same place, there were: Charles and Mary married 12 years and they had: Fern Age 9..Bernice age7...Eva age 4. and they were all born in Missouri. Mary was in the State Hospital in Nevada and she was there for Four Months, she died there on October 20, 1910. she was Buried at Eudora Missouri at the Oakville Cemetary on October 22, 1910. It was later identified as the grave of Mary by a Person that knew her, Maybe Maude Yates. she signed the Death Certificate and furnished the information for her at the time of death. Charlie Pittman had taken the girls and went back to his fathers in Oklahoma Pleasant Pittman's. He knew Mary was dying. somewhere on the way, Fern had died and was Buried. she never made it to Pleasants, and they all remember her dying as a child., no knowledge of the grave as to location. Mary is in Oakville cem located west of Morrisville on #215 and south on # 590. count rows from the West end of cemetary and from the North end for plots. there are other Pittman's there also that are family...Mary's is Row 10 # 16. around her are Zura Pittman...Roy Pittman...Coy Pittman...Fannie Pittman...Louisa Robertson Pittman. Bernice died of Abortion in 1937. she always told family that if she got Pregant again that she would kill herself and she did with a bottle of turpentine. they brought her over to the James side of the River and put her on a buckboard and it Bogged down in the mud, it was storming and so she died there. The Rush creek run through the property. so they Buried her with a son that died of Pneumonia Thurman up on the Yarbrough Hill side. today Bernice has a monument there. the land has grown into pasture, but the family thought it disrespectful to move the remains. Charlie's dad was: Pleasant Pittman. He was Born September 1895 Morrisville Missouri. He married September 30, 1873 Jasper county Missouri. He died 1921 Bailey Oklahoma. He married Louisa Robertson, she was Born May 1956 Missouri. she died December 17, 1903. they had Kids.... Charles Forest Born Jan 1876....Eva Born February 1881....Lela Born October 1883....Will Born February 1889.... Dolly Born May 1887....Gladys Born November 1894....Calvin Born August 1874.... Charlies Grandfather was Andrew Jackson Pittman. He was Born November 23, 1823 Morrisville Missouri. He died June 12, 1909 Morrisville Missouri. He is in Mitchell Cemetary. He was noted so mean that people crossed the street just to get away from him. He had Kids: Pleasant Lily Born September, 1845 and Died 1921.. Joseph Born: 1858 Morrisville. Mo Died 1936 Morrisville Mo....James Born 1858 Morrisville Mo....Lucy.... Levi Born March 29, 1855 Morrisville Mo Died March 15, 1931 Hickory Grove Missouri.
