Notes
a. Note:   As told by Leroy Pierce Robert was the son of Robert Carroll Yarbrough. He was Born near Ardmore Oklahoma, Indian Territory and Died in Weatherford Texas. He married Birtie Clara Grady in Cook County, Texas. Daughter of Caswell Grady and Lucina Mosely. He farmed with his brother Thomas for awhile. Nothing is known about his early life, but during the 1910 census he was the hired hand of Leonard Kelly near Rosston. Birtie was Born 1886 and died in 1954. When I knew the family they lived on a farm near the perryman Cemetary, I remember a stripped down model T that Aubrey or Paul drove around the farm. Uncle Willie had been staying with us for awhile, and with Daddy working all the time, and the other children in school, he and I became great buddies. He had left and I didn't know where he was, one day the Yarbrough's came driving up and Uncle Willie was riding on the back with his feet hanging off the side because the old car was so loaded there was not really room for him to get in the car, I didn't care who they were, other than there was my Uncle Willie. They moved to Borger during the war in 1942 or so, Perry and Cas came to see us at Pantex, about 1945 and I saw some of them a few times after that. Paul and Juanita came to see us one time after Paul got out of the Army and after they were married. My daddy Bought a 3/4 ton Pickup and my foot was on the runningboard and whendaddy started up, I had my hand on the roll of the pickup like I had seen people swing on a horse, Just as daddy Perry hollared Hey Lum, You left one, he really fowled up my plans. I was seven years old. Perry bent over and picked me up and put me in the pickup. Leroy Pierce's dad transported his casket from the house to the cemetary with the pallbearers riding along in the truck. met the william's family whose daughter married Aubrey.
