a. Note:   Zerviah's is buried at Pine Grove Cemetery, Lincoln, Adams Co., WI. There is a double gravestone for Barney Boyd and Zerviah. "Zerviah Boyd died Feb. 9, 1881, aged 73 years, 9 ms., 4 days. and Barney Boyd died 5 Jan. 1873, aged 75 years, 11ms., 11 days." This would make Zerviah born 5 May 1807? Harriet (Cool) (Holley) Whipple marriage record to Whipple lists her father's name as Robert Cool and mother Zeriah Cool. Also, Whipple's pension record notes Harriet's maiden name as Cool. Although, marriage announcement in paper to Barney Boyd lists spelling as Coal. There is a Robert COLE at Albion, Oswego Co., NY 1840 census. None was located in Onondaga Co. for 1820-1830-1840. There was a Robert Cole at Frankfort, Herkimer co., NY, page 153 in 1830. In 1850 NY Census index, Lafayette, Onondaga Co., a Chauncy Hawley is on same page as Barney Boyd (page 217). Also found on page 172 is a Nathaniel Cool and a Cornelius Cool on page 218. 1860 NY Census index, Pompey, Onondaga Co., a Charles Cool on page 705.
