Death certificate - Mary lists father as Barney Boyd and mother as "(blank) Phelps". Died from Cerebral hemorrhage and chronic nephritis. nephritis is disease of the kidneys, characterized by inflammation, degeneration. Obituary for Mary in Post and Record Newspaper dated 20 Mary 1908. Buried at Douglas Cemetery. Obituary for Edward in Post Bulletin dated 19 Feb. 1926. Buried at Douglas Cemetery. He had one sister in Idaho, Leon of Wyoming, Bert of West Concord and Daughter Mrs. Town of Beloit. In 1870, Barney Boyd and wife Zerviah Phelps, daughter Mary and son Darius Scott, all resided with Edward Baker, his mother Hannah, and children Ellen and Leon. Are the Boyd's, or Phelps related to the Baker's? Mary Boyd did not marry Edward until 30 Jul 1870. Why were the Boyd's residing with the Baker's?
