a. Note:   Olmsted Co. Democrat Newspaper 19 Dec. 1895 - Oronoco - Eddie Boyd starts for the pine woods in WI this week. 6 Jan. 1898 - Douglas - Otto Tasmer and Ed Boyd fought a 36 round draw Dec. 22. Both are willing to meet again.
  Record & Union Newspaper 11 Feb. 1898 - Last Saturday afternoon, Mr Edward Boyd and Miss Urenia Weeden were married at the Baptist parsonage in this city by Rev. F. Pl. Leach.
  Rochester Daily Post Newspaper - 3 Mar 1899 - Genoa - Ed. Boyd spend Monday afternoon at Douglas Misses Zadie Sheppard and Mabel Boyd visited with Mrs. Ed Boyd on Monday.
  Post and Record - 24 Mar. 1905 - Mrs. Urenia Boyd died Wednesday at her home in Cascade Township. She was 25 years of age, and the fatal illness was pneumonia. Her husband, Ed Boyd, 3 sisters and one brother are also left to mourn her death. Mrs Boyd was a young woman of many endearing traits of character and her sudden passing will be sincerely mourned. Funeral services will be Friday from the house, and the remains will be laid away in Pleasant Prairie Cemetery.
