a. Note:   spend with family at Wilno ont. She assisted at the family�s hotel enterprise while completing her gr. 12. When the family moved to Edmonton, she remained behind ,staying with her Aunt Paula to complete a Stenographer course. Helen came west to join the family in Edmonton and her professional career at a branch of the Bank of Commerce. After the Slominski family moved to the farm at Lucky Lake she transferred to Toronto. Later Helen changed employers to Dominion Securities, retiring after more than 40 years. Her retirement years were spend in California, Victoria BC and Saskatoon Sask. Helen was athletic excelling in tennis and golf. Her hobbies were art and music. She was a painter and did many paintings. Many of her paintings were hung in her brother Sol�s cottage and sold with the cottage. She played the violin. Her violin was left in California for a grandson of her brother Bill. She had caring interest in her extended family. She often visited members of her family.In her Will she bequeathed part of her estate to our daughters Shauna and Anita which they have used in their post secondary and post graduate pursuits. Helen became sight impaired in her final years. She died at aged 94 and was buried in Barry�s Bay Ont. Canada.
Note:   Helen was a woman of grace and elegance with many talents. Her early years were
