a. Note:   died of cerebral hemmorage & hemaplegia. Had chronic hypertension. Married Abraham Modacai Siegendorf (in the 1890's) before they came to the USA in 1896. She was smart, but couldn't read or write. There is another spelling of her maiden name listed as "Wall" in the 1913 census. Told that... she ran away when she was 17. Her father's name was Abraham Wahl or Wohl b. about 1848 in Austria and died May 13, 1907 in Passaic, NJ. Told, her story was " She had a hard life. She tried always to keep the family together. She lived almost 18 years after Abrham died. Myrna went to live with her some of the years after her mother's death. She was a bootlegger part of the time." Her mother was Lillian Rosegotvalt born in Austria. She had two sisters, each had 8 children. One was Fremcha (Fannie) Coopersmith (who has two daughters in Miami, FL), and one was Clara Stah, who lived in Miami Beach< FL.. Bella and Abraham (nicknamed "Brump") were the parents of Herman Siegendorf, he was only one of their children born before they came to Passaic, NJ, by one report. They had 10 children.Their household was Glot Kosher (most strict). (note: Passaic Junction Cemetary is now Teitherwith Israel on Passaic Avenue). The death certificate lists her date of death on 13 May, age 61 years. She lived at 79 Market Street.She was an active member of several Jewish charitable organizationss.
