The Huffman genealogy stated they had five children, only the names ofLevi and Joseph were known, these sons are listed on the 1880 FederalCensus for Chickasaw T., Chickasaw Co., IA with their widowed father. The list of the five children here is the Chickasaw T., ChickasawCo., IA, 1870 Federal Census and cemetery records. Humphrey was a member of the Union Army during the Civil War, he wasalso a member of the Fife and Drum Corp, playing either the fife ordrum on marches. Re the Huffman Genealogy, his drum was at one timesee at the Historical Society Museum near the Little Brown Church inNashua, IA. The family farm was located near Bassett, IA.
