a. Note:   hill Street in SE Portland, Oregon between 80th and 82nd. He loved to sing while his younger sister played the piano. He used to take his sister dancing. After Elizabeth died at the age of 19, Arthur was broken hearted. I was told that he liked to tease and joke. He must of taken after his mother as she was the one of the grandparents who also liked to joke and tell stories. Grandfather was such an old crab and most of his grandchildren were afraid of him. Arthur died at a fairly young age, 47. Nellie Roy lived to be 100 years of age. Information taken from a black book that Francois Xavier Roy had of all the births of his children. Book in possession of a [great] granddaughter, Margie Glass Blevin of Beaverton, Oregon. Other information given by [grand]daughter Delores Roy Heuval [b: Nov 1928].
Note:   By Marie (Roy) Wilder: Arthur was fairly short as most of the Roy boys were. He met his wife Nellie at the Ascension Church at a card party. He was also a plumber and had a shop on his property on Yam
