Mac worked at the Fisher Body Company in Memphis making automobiles where his father worked before going into the service. When he returned from the service, he worked at Ford Gum and Machine Company distributing and servicing gum ball machines. Later he worked at the University of TN as an Administrator. The retired from National Distillers as head of the facilities and maintenance crew. National Distillers was bought out by Seagrams Whiskey Distillers forcing him into retirement.
