a. Note:   r,with a membership gain of 87% -- to 319 members. In 1916, the grange building was bought from the Bates Cheese Factory, and remodeled in 1919. Evfentually, the grange building was torn down by Robert Maus, and replaced with a ranch-style house. I recall seeing the grange many, many times when driving to Jamestown along Rt. 380.
