  He was a coal Miner.
  Francis M. Bline, a well Known Citizen who, with his wife, have for some time conducted the Globe Hotel, died at 7:00 Tuesday after a lingering illness. The deceased was 63 years old. The deceased was born in Harrison County, Indiana, January 7, 1837 and was married to Sarah Elizabeth Duley November 9, 1859. To this union seven children were born; the wife and six children survive him. The children are Mrs. Mike Graham, of Brownstown, IN; Mrs. John Connaugton, Mrs. William Brennan, Mrs Will Castes and Edward and John Bline of Washington, IN. ~from Washington Democrat, Saturday, November 11, 1899, page 3.
  He was living at 324 S. E. Seventh Street when Martha died.
  From Millie Thompson: He was a stone mason. He set stones in the courthouse of Washington (the one that burned) and he set stones in the G.R. Building (courthouse) in Vincennes, IN.
  He had one leg shorter than the other (right side), he used a cane and in his later years he pushed a two wheeled cart around Washington picking up rags and junk. He would get behind the cart and put his cane inside the cart and push the cart backwards for balancing his body.
  Cause of death:Cerebral Hemorrhage.
