Hermund Johnson Barsness and his wife Christi Pedersdatter Talle signed out of their parish in 1855 and sailed to the U.S.A., settling in Vermont, Dane Co., WI. They were first cousins. Christi's mother. Martha, and Hermund's father, John, were siblings.
