Note: OBIT - Mrs. Clara Steensrud - Wisconsin State Journal, December 1944 Mrs. Clara Steensrud, 66, of 30 Corry St. (Madison), died Sunday at a hospital. She is survived by her husband Ole Steensrud, one son, Russell Steensrud, Springfield, Ill, one granddaughter, Virginia Prindeville, Madison, three sisters: Mrs. Otto Mittmoen, Mt. Horeb; and Amelia Michelson and Mrs. Herman Barsness, both of Black Earth; and two brothers, Alfred Erickson, Blue Mounds and Melvin Erickson, Mt. Horeb. A daughter, Mrs. Lorraine Steensrud*, died last September. Funeral services will be held Wednesday at 1 p.m. in the Gunderson funeral home with the Rev. John N. Walstead of Trinity Lutheran church officiating. At 2:30 p.m. the Rev. Hector Gunderson of Mt. Horeb will conduct services in the Mt. Vernon church.
*should not be her maiden name, was this way in the published obituary. Prindiville is misspelled in the obituary.
