Note: page 2, section 2, July 12, 1971 in Wisconsin State Journal - Mrs. Julia T. Rockstad, 90, of 2413 Hoard Street died Saturday, July 10, 1971, in a Stoughton nursing home after a short illness. She was born in Mt. Horeb and came to the Madison area in 1925. The former Julia Peterson was married to Olaf Topper in 1902.* After his death she married Anton Rockstad in 1912. Mrs. Rockstad was a member of Bethel Lutheran Church and the Naomi Circle of the church. Surviving are a son Milo, Rothschild, WI; two daughters, Mrs. Ernest Gugel, 2413 Hoard St., and Mrs. J. J. O'Brien, Burbank, California; nine grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren. The funeral will be 11 a.m. Tuesday in the Gunderson Funeral Home, 5203 Monona Drive. Burial will be at 1:30 p.m. Tuesday at the West Blue Mounds Cemetery in Blue Mounds. Friends may call from 4 to 9 p.m. today.
