a. Note:   Cordelia Elizabeth MOSIER b Loogootee, Martin County, IN, 1st wife mar 1879 Lawrence Co AR to William David McLAIN b 1859 Lawrence Co AR. Cordelia died 1897 and in 1898, WD McLAIN married Clara COOPER b 1878 Monroe Co AR. They are my great grandparents. Clara finished raising Cordelia's three surviving children but young Henry Elbert McLain died at age 13 and is also buried in Walnut Grove Cemetery. WD McLain, who served 1914-1919, as Jackson County judge, also managed a lumber company and was in business with son-in-law Robert Holden. He died October 1921. Clara never remarried and sometime in the 1950s after, I think, a fire burned her Little Rock house, spent time with her sons, her daughter -- my grandmother -- and with my mother and father and we four children in Texas. Clara died at almost 101 years old in March 1979 in Arkansas where she lived out the last few years of her life. Audrey Williams Stanaland, 23 Nov 2013
