Note: from Dana Mosier Powell, Aug. 27, 2018 - Grandpa (Harry Lee Mosier, Sr) said he was born in Mena, AR. There is no proof except him saying he was born there. We don't know Bradshaw's first name. He worked for the railroads. They moved to Wood County, TX and he became a section foreman. He died in some kind of accident leaving Nancy alone with Charlie, Harry and half-sister Lillie. Nancy died later when Lillie was about 2 we think, maybe due to childbirth complications. The year was about 1889. Nancy had a sister, Sarah who lived in Hill County TX and took the children for a short while. They had mouths to feed and Sarah's husband did not want these children. As the story goes from here Sarah took the kids to the local school and asked the children if any of the parents wanted two children. The Satterfields took them in and Lillie thrived there and had a pony and took piano lessons. Harry was made to be farm help and ran away as a teenager. Charles would have been about 12 and I don't know where he was. He did show up in the census in 1900 working on a farm. There were 2 other children from Albert and Nancy, James and Iris, who died early.
