Notes
a. Note:   I am not sure about the birth date. The 1840 Federal Census was started on 1 June 1840 and was to be completed within 9 months. In the 1840 Census for Hancock County, Indiana under Thomas L D Larimore shows 1 male and 1 female under the age of 5. On the 1850 census it shows an Elizabeth J. Larimore as being 14 (born 1836) and John L. Larimore as being 12 (born 1838). It makes sense that these 2 children are the male/female under 5 count in 1840 census. Think about it, it's 1840 the census person asks the age of the child, if the child was born in 1838, surely the parent knows enough not to say he was born in 1840!! So I'm going with the census and saying John L. Larimore was born in 1838.
