Edward and Pamela are found in the 1920 federal census, Muskegon, Michigan, ED 131, Sheet 14, Line 32: Edward Lasser, aged 40. Pamela, wife; and children Rosamond, Gladys, Lucile, Angela, Edward, and Robert.
Edward's obituary appeared in the Muskegon Chronicle, Monday, 3 January 1944, page 2, col. 4:
E. J. Lessard, Sr., Wood Worker, Carpenter, Dies
Edward J. Lessard, Sr., 66 years old, formerly employed for 20 years by Brunswick-Balke-Collender, and recently by Sealed Power corporation, died at home, 328 E. Ionia avenue, on Sunday morning.
A life-long resident, he was born here Jan. 15, 1877 and married Miss Pamela Vallee on July 31, 1900 here. He also had been a carpenter with several contracting firms.
Mr. Lessard was a communicant of St. Jean's Catholic church and its Holy Name society.
Surviving are the widow, two sons, Edward J. of the U. S. Army in northern Ireland, and Robert J., of Muskegon Heights; four daughters, Mrs. Peter Faucher, Mrs. Glenn Ross, and Mrs. Ernest Wagner, all of Muskegon, and Mrs. James T. Lynch, Elkhold, Wis.; three brothers, Moses and Delore, Muskegon, and Alex, Chicago; one sister, Mrs. Delia Mousseau, Muskegon, and seven grandchildren.
