  Moses' obituary and death notice appeared in the Muskegon Chronicle, Muskegon Michigan, Monday, 23 May 1949, page 18, cols. 3 and 4, respectively:
  Moses J. Lasser, 69 Brunswick-Balke Veteran, Expires
  Moses J. Lasser, 69 years old, 222 W. Forest avenue, a veteran of the Brunswick-Balke-Colender company and lifelong resident here, died today at his home after a brief illness. Born Nov. 13, 1879, in Muskegon, he was a member of the Quarter Century club of the Muskegon industrial company where he had been employed for more than 25 years. He was a communicant of St. Jean's catholic church and a member of its Holy Name society. He also was affiliated with the Dan M. Kennedy council, Knights of Columbus, and the Muskegon Millmen's union. He was married Oct. 16, 1900, to Miss Gustina Carron in Muskegon. He leaves his wife, two sons, George and Donald, both of Muskegon; two daughters, Mrs. Merle Oldt and Mrs. Carl Sundell, both of Muskegon; one brother, Alexander Lasser of Chicago; one sister, Mrs. Delia Mousseau of Muskegon; and eight grandchildren.

  LASSER -- Mr. Moses J. Lasser, of 222 W. Forest Ave., died Monday morning at the residence. Services will be held at 9:00 o'clock Wednesday morning at St. Jean's Catholic church, the Very Rev. Fr. William E. Fraser officiating; and the interment will be in St. Mary's cemetery. Friends may view the remains at the Pachesny Funeral Home, beginning at 7:00 o'clock this evening, and where the rosary will be recited (at 8:00 p.m. Tuesday by the Knights of Columbus.
