Note: Uriah, or Grant as he was often known, was the owner and editor of the "Frackville Star". A newspaper he started in Frackville in April 1892. During his life the newspaper was one of the most outspoken publications in the county and well known for the writings of the founder. After Uriah's death, Anna continued publication until shortly before her death. She was well known for her stern beliefs and zeal for even the most laborious work. Anna's parents were born in France.
