Note: The Morning Call (Allentown, PA) - July 3, 1988, Page B10 Mrs. Lovella Mengel Van Horn Marshall, 75, of 143 E. 2nd St., Wind Gap, formerly of Tatamy, died Saturday in Easton Hospital. She was the wife of Edward Marshall, with whom she observed their 18th wedding anniversary last October, and the widow of Lawrence Mengel and Vernon "Pete" Van Horn. Born in Upper Black Eddy, she was a daughter of the late Herbert and Alice (Dillon) Hager. She was a member of St. Peter's United Church of Christ, Tatamy. Survivors: Husband; sons, Ronald Mengel of Lake Ariel, Pike County, Blaine Mengel of Bushkill Township and Dale Mengel of Tatamy; stepsons, Robert Marshall of Forks Township, James Van Horn of Palmer Township and Edward Van Horn of Alpha, N.J.; stepdaughters, Dolores, wife of Richard Keglovits of Easton, and Shirley, wife of Raymond Ackerman of Stroudsburg; sister Florence, wife of William Brewer of Nazareth; six grandchildren, 13 step-grandchildren, two great-grandchildren and six step-great-grandchildren. Services: 11 a.m. Tuesday, Schmidt Mortuary, 407 Belvidere St., Nazareth. Call 7-8:30 p.m. Monday.
