  Philadelphia, September 6, 1757 to be sold by way of publick vendue, on Monday the 19th instant, at the plantation late Jackob bankson, deceased, in Passyunk, sundry cows, mare, horses and colts, hay in barracks, rye in stacks, Indian corn and buckwheat standing and sundry other things -- the sale to begin at 10 o'clocl. To be sold a tract of land adjoining the said plantation of jacob Bankson, deceased, in Passyunk Township, containing 17 acres and 3 quarters, with a good dwelling house, 35 feet front and 18 feet dep and a cellar under the whole, also a cow house and a good well; late the estate of Jacob Bnakson, deceased. (Note, the information about Jacob Bankston assigning him a son, John, b. 1754 and twin of Judity and the line that went to Louisiana is intermixed with others and this information is not reliable).
  In FHL Film #511,806 <i>Glori Dei Marriages, Baptistms and Burial, 1750-1789,</i> #31, page 11 is: Jacob BANKSON and Eleanor COX, married by license <u>11 June 1753. </u>[There is no age given for either Jacob or Eleanor]
