Notes
a. Note:   Notes for Anna Marie Jehle Krier: Anna Marie Jehle apparently immigrated from Baden (which is now in far southwestern Germany) about 1882 or 1883. However, her name does not show up in the Baden emigration index, which is posted on the internet.
The 1885 Wisconsin state census (on page 15 of the Wauwatosa section) shows an "F. Yehle" in Wauwatosa living with an unnamed male and female, all three having been born in Germany. Anna M. Jehle may be that female, living with her probable brother Freidrich and another male.
("Yehle" is not a valid German surname. The actual correct original spelling was Jehle, which was pronounced as Yehle, and so could have been written as it sounded in the United States. "Yehle" is engraved on Anna's grave marker, but again, that was not the original correct spelling when Anna was born, in what is now Germany.)
Anna's future husband Nicholas Krier lived in Wauwatosa for many years as a young man, so it appears that he met Anna there sometime between 1882, and when they were married in Wauwatosa in 1887.
A transcription of her marriage record has been posted on the internet. Her name was written as "Annie" Jehle. That marriage record also contains the names of her parents, which were written as Ignatius Jehle and Barbara Jehle.
Anna's FindAGrave memorial includes photos of her grave marker: <a href="https://www.findagrave.com/memorial/59275187/anna-m-krier">Memorial</a>
