Note: Notes for Mary Jane Murphy Terry: The 1900 U.S. census had an effective date of June first. Mary Terry was enumerated June seventh. That was the only census ever that asked for the month each person was born. The census page shows Mary being born in August of 1824, but August of 1827 was actually correct. Mary was a widow. She and her parents were born in Ireland. Mary had given birth to 10 children, eight of whom were still alive at that time. Mary's household included a son, a daughter, and two granddaughters. They lived in Green Bay, Brown, Wisconsin.
