Note: Notes for Gerald Louis Olson: He went by the nickname of Jerry. Jerry was the biological father of the baby named Margaret Florence (Olsen or Demeny) (later named Linda Rae Jansen with the later married name of Linda Rae Eckl) that he had with Mary June Demeny. Jerry and Mary June (known as June) were not married to each other. A few days after Margaret was born on October 12, 1942, in Milwaukee, June took Margaret back to June's home in Green Bay, Wisconsin. On October 20th, June put Margaret in St. Mary's Home (for unwed mothers). In the orphanage the infant Margaret was called "Peggy". June was trying to decide whether to keep the baby if she and Jerry decided to get married. June finally decided she could not take care of Margaret, and she put the baby up for adoption. Margaret was placed with Raymond and Audrey Domke Jansen on March 23, 1943, while everybody waited for the final adoption to happen. The final adoption happened November 30, 1943, through the Milwaukee County Court. When Ray and Audrey Jansen adopted Margaret, they changed her name to Linda Rae Jansen. Years later, in 1947, June and Jerry went on to marry other people. Jerry enlisted into the U.S. Navy on August 3, 1942, and was a baker aboard ship during World War 2. After the war, he continued to work as a baker. Jerry married Roberta J. Lawrence in 1947 in Beaver Dam, Wisconsin. They had five children. Roberta went by the nickname of Pat.
