Note: Notes for Ole Larsen: The Danish State Archives Filming Centre has photographed old parish registry books, and posted them online. The marriage record for Ole Larsen and Ane Rasmusdatter has been posted online. It's the third listing on the page at this link, but if you do not have a free account at familysearch.org, you will need to create one to see the image: Photo The effective date of the 1850 Danish census was February first. The Larsen family consisted of Ole, 34, a farmer; his wife Ane Rasmusdatter, 27; and their son Hans Olsen, 1 (actually he was just under three months old.) Two other young adults lived in the home. They lived on a farm in Toreby By (Toreby town) in Toreby Sogn (Toreby Parish) in the Musse District, in Maribo County, Denmark. After the 2007 Danish Municipal Reform, that location is now the town of Toreby, in Guldborgsund Municipality, in Region Zealand, in eastern Denmark. Everybody was born in Toreby Parish. The effective date of the 1855 Danish census was February first. The Larsen family consisted of Ole, 38; a caretaker, Ane Rasmusdatter, 32; their son Hans Olsen, 5; and their daughter Karen Olsdatter, two years of age. There were two servants living with the family, a Christian Rasmussen, 17, who probably was Ane's brother; and a Dorothe Hansdatter, 15. They still lived in Toreby. Everybody was born in Toreby Parish. The effective date of the 1860 Danish census was February first. Listed in the Larsen household were Ole, 44; a caretaker, Ane Rasmusdatter, 37; their son Hans Olsen, 11 (actually 10); their daughters Karen Olsdatter, 8; and Birthe Olsdatter, 4; and son Peder Olsen, age two; plus two servants. They still lived in Toreby, on a farm. Everybody was born in Toreby Parish. A photo of the 1867 burial record, with date of death for Ole Larsen, from the Toreby Parish register, is linked to, below. It's the fourth listing on the page at this link, but if you do not have a free account at familysearch.org, you will need to create one to see the image: Photo The written information: Column 1; Overall burial number Column 2; Yearly burial number Column 3; Date of death, 22 February (of 1867) Column 4; Date of burial, 1 March (of 1867) Column 5; Name of deceased, Ole Larsen Column 6; Occupation and residence (or birthplace), Gaardmand (farmer), Flintinge, Toreby
