Note: Notes for Ane Rasmusdatter: Ane was born about 1822 in Toreby By (Toreby town) in Toreby Sogn (Toreby Parish) in the Musse District, in Maribo County, Denmark. After the 2007 Danish Municipal Reform, that location is now the (small) town of Toreby, in Toreby Parish, in Guldborgsund Municipality, in Region Zealand, in Denmark.
The 1870 census for Toreby Parish isn't available online. It may not exist at all.
The effective date of the 1880 Danish census was February first. Ane's husband Ole Larsen had apparently died since the 1860 census. In this 1880 census Ane, 56, was living with her adult children Karen Olsdatter, 26; Birthe Olsdatter, 24; and Peder Olsen, 22, who all had been living with Ane at the time of the 1860 census. Plus there was another daughter who had been born since the 1860 census, Maren Olsdatter, 18. Ane had a new and much younger husband, Peder Kristensen, 39.
The 1885, 1890, and 1901 censuses for Toreby Parish aren't available online. They may not exist at all.
