Note: Notes for William Crowley: He was a soldier in the British Army. By 1832, William and his wife Catherine had left Ireland and were living in Verulam Township in Victoria County in Ontario, Canada. They had four sons. The Census of 1851/1852 in what is now Canada shows William, 49, and Catherine, 44, still living in Verulam Township. Their four sons were no longer living with them. William was a farmer.
