Note: Notes for Mary Mulcahy Crowley: The <i>Chicago Daily News</i> newspaper printed a death notice for Mary in October of 1933:
CROWLEY-Mary Crowley, Oct 13., beloved mother of William, Thomas, Richard and Timothy, and the late Margaret Kehoe, David, Michael and Kate Haskins. Funeral Monday, Oct 16, 8:30 am from late residence, 1147 W 87th st, to St Kilian's church. Interment Mount Olivet.

Mary's date of birth as written on that death certificate, 1855, was wildly inaccurate. That was the year she was married. She was born in 1835, and lived to be 98½ years old. She outlived four of her eight children.
