a. Note:   Jacob's mother's Bible shows name as Jacob Ulyses Blain Meyers. Some documents and his tombstone show Blain J. Meyers. Draft registration card shows Jacob Blaine Meyers. Per the English experts the spelling should be Jacob Ulysses Blaine Meyers. I was also told that the tombstone was wrong, but never corrected. It appears that Jacob also used aliases at least to the census taker. The 1920 Stone County, Arkansas census, Union Township, ED 151, sheet 5B, 96/102 has the following family: Edward Myers age 36 born Illinois, Lulu Myers age 35 born Illinois, Vere Myers age 14 born Arkansas, Clyde Myers age 12 born Oklahoma, Carshal Myers age 8 born Oklahoma, baby son age 5/30 (newborn) born Arkansas. Every age and name are an exact match except for Edward instead of Jacob and baby son instead of daughter Valor. Statistically this has to be Jacob Meyers and family.
