a. Note:   In 1900 William is working as a "Miner/Zinc Plant(?)., and living in Dayton Twp., Newton County, Missouri. In 1910 "Willie" is working as an "Engineer-Engineer". Probably an Operating Engineer on a Steam Shovel at a Brick Factory. He and family are living in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma. Text of unsigned document titled "From My Mother" believed written by Minnie Muriel Brown, daughter of Della Lutewinnie (Bilke) Brown: "Willie H. Bilke family lived in Tyro, Kansas (1908), found work in Caney, Kan (8 miles away). Working there, the men met the Sarah Brown Johnson family. Frank E. Brown helped the Bilkes move from Tyro to Caney, close to their employment-therefore met Della L. Bilke. Later both familys moved to Okl. City, Okl. to work in a Brickyard. Della & Frank married 7-2-1910. Melvin Earl was born 8-17-1911, They moved to Ontario Calif 1912-where Sarah B. Johnson family had moved & lived on Monterey St. 1/2 Block No. of Holt Ave. (A St.). The Bilke family later moved to Fox, Ark. to work then on to Larned, Kansas. Ten years after Frank & Della they also moved to Ontario, Calif. leaving Ernest C. Bilke in Fox-Clinton Ark. area, where he later married raised a family of three girls, Jewel, Mildred and Berle. There he lived the rest of his life." End of "From My Mother".
