Note: Joella Darleen Schmitt WHITE SETTLEMENT - Joella Darleen Schmitt, 72, a dog groomer andfoster mom, retired from the U.S. Marine Corps, died Thursday,Nov. 3, 2005, in Fort Worth.
Funeral: 11 a.m. Saturday in Benbrook Cemetery.
Joella Darleen Schmitt was born Oct. 3, 1933, in East St. Louis,Ill. She went home to be with the Lord. She was a kind, lovingmother to all, and to many of her foster children. Joella had apassion for animals. Her warm smiles and hugs were a blessing toall who knew her.
Survivors: Son, Gregory Lee Schmitt; sister, Doris Pikes;grandchild, Trey Schmitt; six nephews; three nieces; and bestfriends, Caroline and Malba.
