Note: . I don't know his first name, all I know is Captain McGuire. His wife died leaving one daughter Mary. Her father Captain McGuire took Mary & a governess on a trip around the world, which in those days took 3 years. They left from Baltimore when she was 9 years old and returned when she was 12.
Later Captain McGuire ship sunk and he went down with the ship. Great Grandma Mary married a Captain Smith, they had one daughter Margie. Captain Smith Ship was sunk and he also went down with his ship. Quite a few years later Great Grandma Mary married Great Grandpa James Price.
Note: Mary McGuire Born 1833 Died 1894 (my great grandmother) was the daughter of a Sea Captain
