Note: ollege in 1856. Settled in Macon County, Mississippi 1860. Obituary: Aged Physician Hears Last Call: Dr. O. Hendrick, 94 years Old, Dies at home of his Daughter in this City. Dr. Obediah Hendrick of Meridian died Sunday afternoon at 5 o'clock, after an illness lasting several weeks. His age was 94. He is survived by two children, Mrs. N. A. Hunter of this city, with whom he has made his home for the past several years, and a son in Texas. Dr. Hendrick was an honorary member of the Lauderdale County Medical Association and was the oldest graduate of the medical department of Tulane University, New Orleans, Louisiana. Up to a short time ago he was very active and had attended several meetings of the local medical association. His body was shipped to Macon, Mississippi, Monday morning at 8 o'clock for interment, this being his old home, where he had practiced. A telegram was received last night from the Tulane University, expressing deep regret because of the death of Dr. Hendrick.
