For a long time a member of Black Walnut Baptist church, noted for his faithful discharge of all the duties devolving upon a church member, ever present at all the services of the church, the constant, the watchful and ever vigilant friend of the pastor, his church can sustain few such losses and exist. But he has gone to his reward in heaven, and may his mantle fall on some of his survivors. He leaves a noble Christian wife to lament her loss. To her we extend our kindest Christian sympathy, as well as to his only son and numerous grandchildren.
